Shipping Policy

At Island Roots, we are committed to providing fast, discreet, and reliable shipping for every order. From checkout to delivery, our goal is to deliver a premium experience with efficient fulfillment, secure packaging, and dependable service.

All products are shipped directly from our warehouse in NC, USA.

Shipping Requirements

Customers are responsible for providing a valid name, complete shipping address, and accurate contact information at the time of checkout.

Island Roots is not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, returned, or misdelivered due to incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate shipping information provided by the customer. Customers are responsible for reviewing their order confirmation immediately after placing an order to ensure all shipping information is correct.

If an address correction is needed, customers must contact us as soon as possible before the order ships by emailing info@islandroots.shop. While we will do our best to accommodate address changes, we cannot guarantee modifications once an order has been processed or shipped.

Orders returned to Island Roots because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer may be reshipped at the customer's expense. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, as these fees are paid directly to the shipping carrier for services rendered and are not refunded to us when a package is returned. Any additional shipping costs required to resend the order are the responsibility of the customer.

If a customer chooses not to have the order reshipped, a refund may be issued for the returned merchandise only, less any applicable shipping charges and fees.

Free Shipping

Orders placed Monday–Friday before 3:00 PM ET typically ship the same business day.

Orders placed after 3:00 PM ET, on weekends, or on holidays will ship on the next business day.

Delivery times vary depending on the shipping carrier and destination. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can monitor your delivery.

Overnight Shipping

Overnight shipping is available for select orders and service areas.

Orders shipped via overnight delivery are typically delivered the next business day, depending on carrier service availability and regional limitations.

Adult Signature Requirement

For security purposes, large or high-value orders may require an Adult Signature upon delivery to ensure the package is received safely by an authorized adult.

Shipping Carriers

Shipping Carriers, Issues & Additional Charges

We ship orders using USPS and UPS, depending on the selected shipping method, destination, and service availability.

While Island Roots works closely with our shipping carriers, all shipping operations, routing, delivery scans, postage adjustments, and delivery decisions are handled directly by USPS and UPS. In the event of delays, routing issues, delivery discrepancies, or other carrier-related concerns, the carrier may need to be contacted directly.

Any additional shipping charges, postage adjustments, fees, rerouting charges, or other costs requested or assessed by a carrier must receive prior approval from Island Roots before payment is made.

Customers should not authorize or pay any additional carrier charges on behalf of Island Roots without first contacting us and receiving written approval. Any additional charges paid without prior authorization from Island Roots will not be eligible for reimbursement, refund, or account credit.

If a carrier requests additional payment or reports an issue with a shipment, please contact Island Roots before taking any action so we can review the situation and, when appropriate, communicate directly with the carrier.

Our team is always happy to assist with opening, reviewing, or following up on carrier claims when necessary.

Reporting Delivery Issues

Any issues with your order — including missing items, damaged packages, or delivery concerns — must be reported within 48 hours (2 days) of confirmed delivery.

Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be eligible for investigation, replacement, or refund.

Shipping Restrictions

At this time, Island Roots ships only within the United States.

We do not currently offer international shipping.
